about 40 fares. Saw one limit, a few had I or 2 but at least half including me got skunked. Saw the Dauntless fishing near us just south of inlet so you know ling fishing sucks. Captains reports are shall we say "stretching it

Captains are not stretching it I was out today as well with the same results as you. Do the math quite simple I got 2 shorts today no keepers but the boat had at least 40 keepers for at least 30 fisherman. Now go & do a charters math I would say the average charter average was just as close. Divide 6 into 40 & you got a limit plus. I'm not knocking party boat fishing but if the NK3 had 40 fares & everybody limited that would be 240 keepers. Try some charter fishing for Blackfish your chances of coming home with more Blackfish increases much more. As for Fluke fishing I'm glad it's over & when it opens up I'm happy because there are less people fishing for the ground fish I like to fish for.

I have had a fabulous year for tog. I've been on 8 trips and the only trip I didn't have a limit on I had 5. 4 of the trips I had a double limit and one almost a triple. I agree....if you want to increase your chances spend the extra cash and hop on a 6 pack. Even on the 6 packs... you need to have some skill as we all know tog are about the hardest fish to catch off of jersey!

Doug, did you hear about the constipated mathematician. He worked it out with a pencil. The ultimate result of these posts is that we are wasting our money togging on party boats.
