The word that October is the month to go is the correct word. Unfortunately, I am usually busy at work in October and Novermber. I have a friend who is a charter captain who will put me up in a Pawleys Island condo and take me out as a freebie any time I can get down there. Way back when he and I had 100 flounder days with a lot of 8 and 10 pound doormats mixed in.
I can usually take a few days in February and March to mix up some hog hunting and fishing. My job lets me fish a lot in June, July and August so I can't really complain.
