Golden Eagle - Tuesday Blues
A tough day on the Bluefish & Striper front today. We look at the beach early in the day then off in the mud hole and reef area for the Blues but there were not many to be found. We tried jigs, bait, drifting & anchoring & chumming with the same results.
Later we came inshore and "live lined" in the bunker schools for some Stripers but that didn't work out very well either.
We did catch a few cod fish, both keepers & shorts.
The Golden Eagle sails daily for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.
NIGHT BLUES Friday & Saturday nights at 7:30pm.
