Default Slow Tuesday Striper bite, but still here

Pulled out of Manasquan Inlet mid morning Tuesday and headed south, only a handful of boats out. There was a decent size SE swell rolling in, had to bring throttles back a little. With the storm approaching I had high hopes of a good bite. We marked tons of fish just north of the Mantoloking Pipe in 65 ft of water, and lots of bait. The fish however were stubborn to bite, headed further south and were able to get one 30" fish in the box North of the Seaside Pier on the troll with a 9'ers Shad/eel combo. Headed in by 1pm, only heard one other boat with fish in the box, everyone else nothing doing. Did well last Friday with a 35" fish, pic below. Heading back out Saturday, hopefully these fish will start biting again!
