Default Striped Bass Info Links

If you catch a tagged striper, you might want some of this information. If you want to know where some of the tagged stripers are recaptured, at least one of these links will supply some answers. The theory about some of the stripers that were stocked in the Navesink as part of a restoration project back in the 1990's is worth some thought.

What is evident in searching the NJ Div. of Fish & Wildlife website is that much is being done to study striped bass habits and life cycles and it is a coastal study which includes many states and agencies.

Finally, to better help and better learn more about striped bass, join the American Littoral Society based on Sandy Hook. It's worthwhile and rewarding.

Great post and info here Bill, thanks for taking the time to share it...I had no idea fish and game stocked Stripers in the Navesink in the 90s...

Many people also don't know that the Stripers now found in the San Frisco Bay Area were transplants from the Navesink River back in 1879.
