Nice trout! I did the polar bear plunge a few years ago in December fishing the Rahway. I was netting a carp when the 3' high undercut bank I was standing on collapsed into the river. I went in head first and was completely soaked. I was shaking for about 10 minutes but after I put on some dry clothes and did some push-ups and jumping jacks I was good to go for the rest of the day. That was even colder than falling through the ice.
