Excellent post, very informative and non-self indulgent. I should really start doing more surf fishing and this post convinced me to give it a go. The hook is only about 1 hour from my home and I basically have the equiptment thanx to my annual OBX trips, the only thing I need is a new wader. I am hoping one is available at a "sidewalk" sale this Saturday.
