If any one knows a Monmouth County veteran in need of VA assistance please advise them the the NJ Department of Military Affairs has a Veteran Services Officer in most counties. Here in Monmouth County the VSO is Peter Midgley. His phone number is 609 671 3566 and his office is on Bangs Ave in Asbury Park.
From personal experience I can attest to his enthusiasm and zeal in assisting a veteran through red tape and bureaucratic mazes.
