Default Tips on Bluefish, Bonito, albies, midshore out of Barnegat Light

Hello and good morning, all. I have been reading all of these reports on the amazing bluefish trips, bonito hauls, now some albies mixed in, etc. It all seems to be coming out of the more northern NJ ports. Has anyone seen any of this further south out of Barnegat Light? I have not made it out many times this year due to family obligations, but the times I went out I have not run into much.

Last time out 2 weeks ago I ran into many flocks of birds feeding within just a few miles of the inlet - marked fish everywhere - but nothing I baited or jigged turned up anything but some short fluke here and there. It was kinda strange as I thought there had to be some blues under those birds. Certainly not asking for info on people's fav spots... I know we all have to work to find those. I am just wondering if it's because folks/the big boats are finding them further out than I have been looking - like more toward the north or south ridges, or one of the lumps.
