You can thank the internet. Many of ny states fishing areas are getting blasted. Tourneys are ridiculous here all year and we even have yellow perch and rock bass tourneys to go along with the thousands of trout bass and catfish tourneys. NY state is not what it was a few years ago. Its changed for the worse in the name of tourism revenue. Bob
