Gerry I agree that the issues you bring up are significant problems, everyone has their own personal agendas. Maybe the recreational sector should unionize, pay dues and have one voice to speak on our behalf. We'd still have the issues to contend with on this thread regarding the government, ASMFC and MAFMC but it would address how fragmented the sector is. It might also help the recreational sector organize against equipment manufacturers who make hundreds of millions from our spending annually and do essentially nothing to preserve our rights, assist with enforcement matters and or environmental and conservation efforts.
