I didn’t hunt because of the 30 knot north wind small craft advisory, 2 PM high tide and large gash in my thumb. Went fishing 🎣 in 56 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening on a cold, sunny day with a strong north wind after a cold front. Threw out corn 🌽 for chum, then caught nothing with canned whole kernel corn 🌽 bait. Caught and released 5 white perch, a 9” black crappie and a 12” largemouth bass with a 1/32 oz twister tail jig on 2 lb test line. Saw the resident great blue heron catch and swallow 6 fish 🐟. Ten other fishermen caught fish 🐠. Canada geese migrated south on the north wind. When I stopped at a CVS on my way home, the customer ahead of me tried to cash a counterfeit $100 bill.
