Default Applying for my 81th NJ Skillful Angler Recognition Award

Went carping in 74 degrees, flooded Carnegie Lake this evening in the rain during a nor’easter. I fished in the rain 🌧️ 6 of the last 7 evenings. The water level of the lake dropped some but a hurricane 🌀 is on the way here. Water was less muddy but there was still a swift current in the lake at the Aqueduct. Only 3 people were fishing 🎣 when I arrived. No cars were in the parking lot when I left. Princeton University rowers were on the lake when I arrived, but they all left soon after I started fishing 🎣. Saw a young of the year northern water snake 🐍 swim across my spot soon after I arrived. Threw out corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released a 14” 1 lb 7 oz 9.25” girth brown bullhead on my first cast of the day with canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 bait. I am applying for my 81th NJ Skillful Angler Recognition Award 🥇. Caught and released a largemouth bass with a 1/32 oz twister tail jig on 2 lb test line before losing the lure to a snag on the bottom of the lake. Also lost 3 hooks on a bottom snag.
