GAMBLER --Fluke Fishing and Night Fishing Reports
This weekend the fluke fishing was pretty tough. As hot as it was on land, the ocean water was cooled by an up-welling from steady Southerly winds.
This morning, the fluke turned onto feed mode and the fishing was okay on the Gambler. plenty of shorts and some keeper sized flukes were netted. 3 fluke this morning were over 4 lbs.
The Gambler's Nite Wreckin' trips this weekend were hindered by high winds and high seas. The guys that could manage it caught some good sized, good eating ling. But it was tricky fishing for others.
