Default Good Smallmouth Creekin'

Since getting some SMBs in PA on my last trip, Ive had a good start with some Raritan SMBs this last week. Started a lil trip after work and got some nice small ones. Yesterday I went out for the majority of the day and it was magic with a lot of topwater hits on the weightless fluke. I was working the fluke aggressively and fast on the surface and the bass loved crushing it. Didnt bother using a jig until the walk back but only got small dinks and redbreasts. Didnt find many SMBs in the deeper spots too, most fish in slow moving runs with cover on the bank.

Waded 1.5 miles upriver and didnt see any trout, albeit I wasnt targeting them.
