Default Pocono Trout Slammin' on the Lehigh River

Lehigh River, May 18, 2024

Water: ideal depth and flow for trouting, mostly clear, did not have thermometer but guessing 55-60 degrees.

Sky: cloudy with light drizzle

Air temperature:
mid-60's

Time: 1:00 - 6:45 PM

Bait used:
#2 Blue Fox spinner, #6 Panther Martin, 1/6 oz. or 1/4 oz. Thomas spoon, plugs.

The fish were very happy. There were flies everywhere and I saw many trout jumping. Almost 30 trout caught, all released, only one big one at 3 lbs. which was the only negative of the day. All the others were 1 - 2lbs.
