County line fishing
Went carping in the 73 degree Millstone River on the south shore in West Windsor, NJ, this evening on a hot, humid, sunny day with a strong south wind. Threw out corn for chum then caught and released a 9” yellow perch with a 1/32 oz twister tail jig on 2 lb test line and 2 male spawn ready milt leaking common carp to 8.75 lb with canned whole kernel corn 🌽 on 12 lb test line. Turtles 🐢, goslings, cormorants, eagles, osprey, crows 🐦*⬛, swallows, grackles, and a kayak fisherman were nearby. When I left, two fishermen were in my spot.
