I gave it a try in northern Ocean county Sat and Sunday morning and caught both days. Although I missed more than I caught and the fish were small it was fun on the lighter tackle. Got the most bites by dragging a rubber sand eel lure low and slow parallel to the beach lip, as it got brighter out the action moved out and eventually faded.Got nothing on the teaser which is strange because that's all they wanted 2 weeks ago. The fish seemed to be widely scattered and I had the most sucess in areas where I saw Loons working in close. It should be good for a couple more weeks hopefully but I'm probably done until March. Had a great year surf fishing and logged in the most hours ever this year.
