Default Re: The "cover more water" trap

ive done this multiple times in the past, recently this fall; where i got swiped by a nice brown trout but just couldnt get it to pop back out. Tried throwing different stuff around.
However, it wouldnt work.

Usually, I rather go find another fishy spot especially when i know there are more up ahead. I often think once a fish is onto you they wont budge.

It does feel nice moving and not standing in one spot for too long, just for the entertainment/activeness factor. Constantly on the move is one thing i like about trout fishing.

I admit i dont have as much of an arsenal of lures when i trout fish. Although i will change plugs, jigs, spinners, even throw pink worms and sizes etc. but honestly it's something i could expand on. I can be hard when i know a lure works i dont want to change and go through a new hole and not throw that lure.
