Headed up north last week with the boat to get in on the lake action. Snuck out Saturday night and Sunday for a good part of the day before it got too rough. We fished 80-140 FOW. We had a couple fish this trip and lost a few real quick hitters. Flashers & flys were the ticket we did get a good fish on the meat rig. Also got pb walleye on the rigger that never popped the clip. Absolute beast of a fish bouncing 10/11 lbs on the boga.
Stopped by the river to take a look before headed home and saw guys hooked up and down the river, like it used to be in the good ole days. I think we are in for a good run of fish this year.

This past weekend ventured back up with the fly rods to fish the river and saw some fish blasting by but they were on the move. Guys we’re getting a few outta the deeper pools where they are holding. Only gonna get better be back up in a few weeks.
