I spoke with Eric from The Reel Seat in Brielle and this is how he told me how to rig up when jigging tuna;

-At the end of your leader attach a #220 Spro swivel.
-On the other end of the swivel attach a split ring.
-Attach a solid ring to the split ring.
-Attach your assist hooks to the solid ring.
-Attach your jig to the split ring.

The above allows you to change jigs by just removing the old jig from the split ring & replacing it with your new jig.
