Daiwa BGs, BG MQs, Back Bays, Ballistic along with the Shimano Stradic are nice fluke spinning reels.
I’ll also agree with the Daiwa Lexa 300 for baitcasting.
That being said, bring the rods to your local tackle shop and try several reels on each rod and see what balances best & feels good to you.
