Default Sou’wester fishing

Went ultralight jigging in a 40 degree Central Jersey lake this afternoon on a cloudy, cool day with a sou’wester small craft advisory. A rowing coach was breaking ice with a motor boat. A local fisherman who arrived before I reached my spot was there for 45 minutes. I caught and released 22 yellow perch, 16 white perch and a black crappie with Walmart red worm 🪱 halves on two gold hooks and a 1/32 oz unpainted leadhead jig on 4 lb test line. Landed 892 fish in 29 trips to the same spot this year with 4 containers of worms.
