Channel catfish
Caught and released 22 white perch, 10 yellow perch, a bluegill and a channel catfish with Walmart red worm halves on two gold hooks and a 1/16 oz unpainted leadhead jig on 4 lb test line in a 46 degree NJ lake this afternoon on a cold, cloudy day with a small craft advisory northwest wind. Air temp was only 39 degrees. I wore gloves. The 10 other fishermen all quit fishing early. Caught and released 339 fish this year in one spot. The same 8 fishermen are at the lake every afternoon.
