They are coming from all over to fish Raritan bay for bass. Boats attract boats although these fish are pretty much everywhere in the bay and rivers! The crowds of boats give them lockjaw. I try to keep away from the fleet but it seems once I hook up on a fish or two miles from the fleet I am surrounded buy boats in a matter of minutes and it's time to move on! Tight Lines!
