Default Kiss of death

Thought about the inevitable as soon as he bit. Was at a nice secluded spot and besides a healthy looking coyote walking the path back that i came in on, no other life in site. 1st cast I landed a decent pickeral & that was it for the day. 2nd time this has kissed the day for me. It's hard to just walk away after a 1st cast fish but i still enjoyed the day. The smallie was from 2days prior and was able to land a few fish in the wind. Biggest one ran 4lbs @19½". Caught a slightly deformed mollie as well @3.9lbs, the angle was a bit lower but the shape is still a bit visible.
Have to give a thanks to the guys that have been burning that spot hard the past 4 weeks. I cleaned up a bit & besides garbage gathered, i picked up about $20 worth of lures and a castable fish sonar that still works! Been playing with it and marking fish here & there so definitely, thanks to whomever left it, it's a useful toy.
