Took a last second trip up to my favorite place on Earth with some of the NJF crew and the better half to close out the 2021-22 ice fishing season to chase salmnz and macks.
Must have marked over a 100 fish in 80 fow on Saturday and only have 1 bite to show for it. On Sunday we found some micro perch to play with after the rain pushed through. I am cleaning up and getting ready to drive back when the wifey screams "the line won't stop running out!". I run over and carefully tighten the drag to slow it down and after a long 5 minutes fight on 4# test Chrisper grabs the beast. Hundreds of dollars in shiny and snazzy lures and this thing eats a dot jig tipped with micro gulp. I give up!!

I can never get enough of the scenery in Lake George.
Had a decent ice season but I am ready for open water!
