Hump day Sacalaits
Sacalait are hungry!!!!!!! Kept 8 between 9.5-12.5 inches released a bunch more plus 5 or 6 in the 12-14inch category who's bellys were busting & were loaded with eggs. Also kept 2 bigger than my bear paw bluegills. Lots of little big mouth catfish getting active as well, also saw the biggest pickerel of my life pretty sure the thing could eat a child. Fish wanted plastics fished on plain hooks twitched just under surface & then fall every few feet, did not want the jig n float at all. Had a good ole fashion panfish fry for dinner bring your own tartar & hot sauce!
