Headed out Saturday and Sunday this weekend looking to ice some toothy critters. Saturday was a disaster as I woke up late and had to leave early. Only positive was finally taking the Clam Kenai pro for a ride with the Mr. Buddy Heater. Talk about comfort. I’m not sure why I tortured myself in the wind all these years after torturing myself working outside. This set up kicks ass! Anyway back to the fish! Got 3 flags on a busy Sunday and landed 3 Pike while the masses were using medium shiners landing Perch after tasty Perch! Nothing wrong with Perch! They are tasty and I have some waiting for me in the freezer. Mmmmmmm! The 3 Pike I landed were 24, 30 and a good one around 36ish inches. Fun day on the ice and I got to meet up with some friends I haven’t seen in about 3 seasons. Love the way the ice brings people together. TIGHT LINEZ!!!
