I'll probably never get to an advanced stage with the jigs, but I did start with the Ice Jig and the Gotchas. I caught a hybrid on one of my Gotchas, same I use for Spanish mackerel when in NC, from Avon Pier. (We swim/sweep them there, rod lowered below the rail; you sweep/jerk it upside down.) Once I started using the Binsky, I pretty much fully committed to it. Have caught walleye, pickerel, crappie, perch, rock bass jigging the drops with it, but after this recent trip...I started to think about the Ice Jig again.
