6/2 Bass and Fluke
Left at 930 with pops and a buddy looking for fluke, but brought the spoon rods just in case. Water was dirty and the fluke bite was slow on the East side of the bay. Ran out between the channels during the tide change and had non stop action on the Green Maja 4 spoon with fish to 36 lbs all released. Once the arms got tired headed back into the bay and had a steady pick at fluke only managing 2 keepers, and at least 30 short fish with a lot of 17 3/4 going back. Bucktail color didn't matter but new penny shrimp and Charteuse were the ticket. Water cleared up a lot and we found the fish in the shallows again 12 to 14 feet deep. Great day with a lot of laughs, ball busting, and big bass!!
