Default My best SM this season.

With rain tomorrow,we got out for a few hours this afternoon. Water temp was 43 to 44 degrees, I was jigging a blade vertically, though I was snagged but with pressure it was coming up slowly. I then saw a big smallie roll and splash on the surface. I guess it didn't like the looks of the net, sounded a few times and eventually splashed it way into the net. It was a heavy fish that was 20" long with a comparable girth. The picture doesn't do justice because by trying to keep the fish straight I wound up pulling the tail towards me trying to control it's bending. For picture reference, I'm 6'5".
