9/22 Monger Porgypalooza
Got back on the water with Captain Hank, Rizzo & shawn on Sunday. Motley Crew consisting of Philthy Orr, Fisty Frankel, cousin rick, Big tommy, Little tommy, Poppa Kurtis, Poppa Vince, Scubajewnior, & Mr. Knife Tdaly. To say porgy fishing was good is an understatement, 30ft of water & the biggest porgys ya can catch, these were bigger than what we caught in Mass last year. Straight bulldogging ya down & taking drag amazing fun. after we had a decent # we went jigged blues like old times & had a blast after that slowed up we went back in & anchored up & topped off our limit with more chops. At 1 point the porgys coming up were smaller so the captain measured 1 of these tiny porgys & it was 12.5inches thats just how huge these porgys were straight dwarfing a normal nice size porgy. Also had a trigger, a blue runner, 2 puffers & a hairy spanish mackerel.Great day at sea with the best crew around
