Mushin bluefin 7/26,27,28
Friday’s 7/26 Trip was tougher for the whole fleet as what seemed to be over 150-200 boats converged on one area and pushed the fish down...the tuna signs were still there and anglers still gave it their all, but we came up empty except for some bluefish and amazing whale shows. Truth in reporting...no sugarcoating on Friday’s results.
7/27 Bluefin Jigging and Chunking - The Crew of Dan, Mike, and Tommy has Open Boat Bluefin group of Bill G (Happy Birthday!), John, Patrick, Greg and friend, and Chris out. After setting up they caught them well on bait and jigs, and kept the legal Over and only able to find one Under. Lots of great signs for more of this great Bluefin fishery!
7/28 - Bluefin! Today we had Cory, Doug, Scott, Al, and Bob on board. This morning was a tougher start for the fleet so it took some looking around. Eventually got them going good and a nice flurry produced 5 of 10 all on jigs plus a few Bonita! The guys were persistent, and it paid off with their catches!
