You can get a Raymarine Axiom 7 inch for $999 that has built in GPS receiver, chirp down-vision and the transducer all in one package. We have the Axiom 9 inch and love it...
Uses Navionics and has wifi so it's easy to update charts and you can interface it with the Navioncs apps on your phone to mirror the chart plotter screen to your phone and sync waypoints and routes from your phone to chart plotter and visa versa...
