Default Pre Front Togging

Made a late afternoon Friday trip with Sven of The Hook and Jarhead. Had a good feeling as we were leaving the dock as we’ve always done well the day before a major front passes and the fishing didn’t disappoint. We had a few fish on within a few minutes of coming tight on the anchor. After an hour it built up to an all out frenzy.
We probably had 60 fish between the three of us and had to pull the plug early since the seas were starting to build and it got unconfortable.

Tim had the hot hand, I held my own and Jarhead is still getting the feel for jigging but came on strong in the end. Noting big but practically all would have made the box. Fun fishing and probably one of the more aggressive bites I’ve ever seen. The fish were very committed to crabs and you’d get several shots at them on the same bait. Even if you just sent down a leg or a claw you’d get hit.

All jigs no rigs.
