Capt. Ryan VanderKooy had the annual VanderKooy family outing out for a scheduled Thursday into Friday overnighter. They got on the grounds and saw great fishing, with Bigeyes and Yellowfin hitting the deck with great consistency throughout the day .. by evening they decided they had enough and cut the trip short, heading home with a full fishbox. We are sidelined with a terrible weather pattern this week but hoping it clears before the weekend.
