Default Monday mid range report

Ran SE out of Manasquan early. Came upon some life about 35 miles out put out the spread and caught small bluefish, water was very green. Picked up and ran toward the Chicken, checked out the AP on the way saw some slicks and chicks but no marks. Got to the Chicken and the water was much better. Spun around there for awhile but what little life we had was fading. Headed out to the east side and it was really dead. So went back up to where we started and the bait and whales were gone, and we got covered up by big gear wrecking gators. Picked up the speed to 9 knots and they were still on us. That was it for us today, Heard Long Island guys on the radio getting some nice Bluefins at the Coimbra.
