Stopped at Manville at around 1pm today after the shad fishing with Rutgers.
Previously in the week I tried fishing way below nevius street bridge to sommervile with only two lmb. Where are the smallies D: ??
Thankfully today that was fullfied. Snatched a fun sized one. Then a bitsy one.
Took the knock-off gopro out for a test run and got this footage (nothing exciting):

Fished more, worked downstream, battery ran out, then I finally hit some more fish.
My jig gets CRUSHED! like I never had before. Was just letting it swing through the current and something DRAGS the jig down. Feisty rainbow- And not a spring stockie!
I was used to catching trout this size in 40 degree water... Dad always told me they fought harder when its warmer. I understand what he means now.
This whole experience was overshadowed by the next rainbow which was even bigger and meaner on my jig.
Everything caught on 1/8th oz black jigs.
