Default Lunchtime Smallie

My first NJ fish of 2018! Man it's a late start this year. Anyway...1 minute drive, 1 hour of fishing the NB of the Raritan, 1 nice fat Smallie. She was full of eggs and red around the mouth so definitely bedding. Water is still cold but this little heat wave is gettin 'em going I guess. Got her on a Ned Rig with a green pumpkin Zman TRD. Ultra lite trout rod with 4lb test too. Took a bit to get her in so as not to break off. Sorry for the crappy "13 year old flip phone" pics but it's all I got. This was a really nice fish for this part of the river...I was not expecting it and was freakin out with that light line and all those rocks!!! The flip phone just doesn't do it justice. Note: This is 2 pics of the same fish...before someone jumps on my ass for trying to BS anyone.

Yes Andy...The same Sh$t part of the NB that has no water and no fish. What can I say I'm not very original.
