If your not concerned with GPS and features like that, i suggest a Humminbird Piranhamax. I have the 155 and it works very well on both my canoe and for the ice. It comes with the carrying case for ice fishing, which holds everything. And in the summer i have it mounted on an old fishing buddy mount for my canoe.
