water was so clear and shin/knee deep so i saw it clear as day as seconds after it hit and started rolling on the surface. I knew what it was but i wasn't expecting it to NEVER SURRENDER! This fish had to have been living in the wild for a while imo, just based on the fins, color, and fight it put up.
4-5 minutes of intensity and then as soon as i took the picture and put it back it thumped my hand away and took off disappeared! didn't even need to be revived! I couldn't believe the stamina! I'm pretty sure this fish has defeated a few anglers in it's day. by the time i finally got the net under it, she was already unhooked, that's how close it was!
