Took my brother up to the shed yesterday for a few hours of harassing some fish. On the water and fishing around 8ish. Temps were great and the wind started out light. Only one other trailer in the lot at the time.
Cruised around for a while and had a steady pick of smallies and pickerel. All were healthy and well fed. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and bait caught a fairly even amount. Caught a few smallies in the 17-19" range. Smallest pickerel was around 23" with the biggest being a FAT 27"er!! All fish were aggressive and fought hard. One smallie even managed to dive under the boat, launch himself out of the water on the other side, and land in the boat directly at my feet!!
That was definitely a first for me, lol......
Around noon the wind started picking up a we decided to split. Not a bad couple hours of fishing on a great day.
