Reel Class Sunday 8/20 Fluke to 6.5#
Had a full 6 person open boat crew today for our open trip (was originally a charter but the charter had to reschedule).
Had an OK bite early with a few nice quick keepers and some short life but that dried up quickly. Bounced around and found little life everywhere for awhile then we'd pick one or two here and there.
Finally at the end of the day when the boat traffic cleared we found a nice patch and were able to get a few good drifts on them.
...Finished one shy of our limit and our biggest fish was 6.5# -- Hannah was HH with a double limit and Dale and Dave also had their limit +. Also had a few seabass and one cocktail bluefish. It literally took all day but we got it done. Nice work to our crew who fished hard all day long!
