Default Re: marine weather sites?

The Fishweather app is best for WIND predictions, but has tools to create on-demand forecasts in the wind forecast maps. I use it for every fishing trip to make sure that I'm not unnecessarily surprised by Mother Nature. Using the Fishweather app is FREE.

The Buoyweather app gives you a two-day look at the marine forecast (wind and waves) for any location that you choose on a map. I've used it in Maine, Montauk, Avon, Avalon, Indian River (DE), and Indian River (FL). Subscribers get the same functionality for full 7 day marine forecast instead of just 2 days. It's especially useful for offshore trips and where NOAA marine forecasts meet e.g. Is Montauk in Long Island Sound, Block Island Sound, or the end of the South Shore? Buoy Weather gives you the forecast for the spot on the map that you choose.
