Last night, fishing was very slow with only a couple fish being caught. There were strong winds and a very fast drift which made it hard to hold the bottom. We did have a large pod of porpoises put on a nice show for us before we headed back to the dock.

Today, the Miss Belmar continued to have great fishing on the rock piles and mussel beds east of shark river inlet. We had nice big sea bass and fluke along with ling mixed in. It was an absolutely beautiful day on the ocean and a perfect day for fishing. I will post pictures when I get them.
