Default Gambler spur of the moment

fluke trip. had off today /tomorrow so went shoreward...not much drift but some current , held bottom with 4, then 6 oz. as we got a little breeze with mono draggin' bait. Bottom must have been carpeted with keeper fluke--I got 2(21" & 19") plus limit of sea bass-1 real nice. Maybe 18 peps on board and accounted for 10-12 fluke and a like amount of SB...If I catch a keeper, it's a banner trip so I guess this one was super. Quite a few shorts, both flatties and bass. A robin and skate from time to time also. They seemed to like pink whatever today. Bottom temps gotta' be warming finally---lead wasn't as cold as on the 4th., it's about time. We had a shark too far off the boat to tell species for an hour or so. Could see him feeding/chasing something...pretty cool!!
Finally got some inshore fish meals, yahoo...Chucky

Capt. Bob, get healed, we need you to complete the "motley crew"...ha,ha...
