Hahaha. Today was the RFA trip and it did not disappoint. No matter what day or month Dave picks we just cant win. It rained pretty good for a little while and the fog was very thick. Had a swell too that im sure didnt help the fishing to much. Well i got a few shorts and missed a few like i always do. Capt Ron was making moves and trying everything and then he put me on that big girl i got today. It was just under 27 inches and came in at 8# 12oz. It was on the jig and as soon as i set the hook on the fish i knew it was a good one. I think i said Joeys name like one time but i look over and he was already walking over with the net. He scoped it up and i was pumped. I got it on a 2oz jig and 6/0 teaser hook about 8 inches above. The fish was on the top hook.
Thank you Capt Ron, Joey, and Jimmy. Top notch as always
