Don't forget the Hudson River up there I rented a two person kayak up river and fished the whole way down to the last pickup killing smallies, the earlier the better to start, but also worth a day if you have time...the second seat was for my gear btw, but I do remember a few skinny sections... know what your doing or keep it tied up!!
