A lot of places let guests use rental boats for free. Double check to see if your place has any. If not, I would honestly bite the bullet and get a boat, preferably with a trolling motor. Fishing there is on fire and you wont regret it. If not, you couldn't go wrong with a kayak either. Tons of bass around docks and in humps/structure in 20-30 fow.
